Horizontal water tanks can only be installed horizontally. Millionsun horizontal water tank capacities range from 100L to 500L, with electric heating element options from 1.5KW to 3KW. The tank can be supplied as a standalone unit or as part of a complete system package.

How the System Works?
In a Thermosyphon System
The tank mounts above the solar collector on the roof. As the collector heats water, the hot water naturally rises into the tank. Cooler water from the tank bottom flows back to the collector. This natural circulation continues as long as the sun shines. The electric element provides backup heating when needed.
In a Forced Circulation (Split) System
The tank mounts inside the building at ground level. A pump circulates antifreeze fluid through the collectors and a heat exchanger inside the tank transfers the heat to the stored water. The controller manages pump operation and backup heating automatically.
As an Electric Backup Tank Only
The tank works as a standard electric water heater, with the heating element controlled by a thermostat. It can be added to an existing solar system or used as a standalone electric storage tank.
